01. Client
The Santander Bank was founded in 1857 in the Spanish city of the same name. It is the second largest bank in the euro zone and the twelfth largest in the world in terms of capitalisation.
The ambition of Santander Bank is to meet the expectations of its corporate clients who expect from e-banking, first of all, many functionalities, but also the possibility to flexibly adapt it to the specificity of a given company's work.
Our job was (and still is) to develop iBiznes24. We started cooperation with the bank in 2011, as the previous system was implemented in a very limited technology, and the implementation of many functionalities demanded by customers was almost impossible.

02. Solution
Our specialists took up the challenge which resulted in a completely new corporate banking based on the revolutionary GWT technology. An important requirement was that the new application should have a window interface, which would allow, first of all, to perform many tasks at the same time, and secondly, it would resemble a typical "Windows" application interface, to which the customers of BZ WBK bank (today Santander bank) were familiar. The goal was achieved and the new version of the banking system was appreciated by the customers.
Since then, the system has been extended with many modules such as eFX platform, cash handling, trade finance module, as well as support for the National Court Register (KRS) electronic documents. External interfaces, such as B2B or PSD2, are also constantly being developed.

03. Results
The clients highly appreciate the wide range of offered functions, easy access to banking products and the possibility of configuring and personalizing the interface, which improved the position of our client in relation to the competition. Many people have indicated iBiznes24 as the system containing the widest set of functions on the Polish market. It became possible to offer new functions to customers, whose development in the previous technology was not profitable. Thanks to replacing the fat-client system with a browser application, the need (and costs) for cyclical updates of the application by customers disappeared.
