IMPLEMENTATION: 3 WEEKS

01. Client

Spółdzielcza Grupa Bankowa (SGB) is the second largest association of cooperative banks operating in Poland. SGB consists of over 200 banks operating locally in Poland and SGB-Bank SA, which is an association bank.

In 2018, SGB joined the Poland Cashless Program - a joint initiative of the participants of the payment services market. This initiative was established by the Polish Bank Association, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, settlement agents, Visa and Mastercard payment organizations. Under this program, entrepreneurs who meet the specified conditions may receive and use payment terminals free of charge for at least 12 months.

Our goal was to quickly prepare technical opportunities for the SGB Group so that it could join the Cashless Poland Programme as soon as possible. This meant the need to quickly create an application form for entrepreneurs that would be consistent not only with the existing graphical interface, but also integrated with the e-banking system, in which the business client had to log in before filling in the application.

Challenge

Our goal was to quickly prepare technical opportunities for the SGB Group so that it could join the Cashless Poland Programme as soon as possible. This meant the need to quickly create an application form for entrepreneurs that would be consistent not only with the existing graphical interface, but also integrated with the e-banking system, in which the business client had to log in before filling in the application.

02. Solution

The cooperation between SGB and Consdata started with the implementation of the Family 500+ applications and the Cash Loan. As a result, the SGB Group already had an existing eximee platform. Therefore, the implementation of the terminal application required only the delivery of another application template and embedding it in the eximee. We managed to do it in a very short time. It is worth noting that on the bank's IT department side there were practically no work related to hardware expansion, resource configuration or installation of any components - apart from uploading the delivered application onto the eximee platform. We used the existing interface with electronic banking. It also made it possible to perform only functional tests of the application template, as all other elements of the infrastructure and software have not changed!

Worth mentioning

Worth mentioning

In the whole Poland there are already over 200 k payment terminals operating within the Cashless Poland Programme. Already every third entrepreneur accepting non-cash payments in Poland has received a payment terminal under the Programme.

Over 80% of the terminals installed in Poland since the beginning of 2018 come from the Cashless Poland Programme.

03. Results

The project was completed in record time. Only 3 weeks passed between the order of the application and its launch. Thanks to such a short period of implementation, the bank immediately managed to join the Cashless Poland Programme.

In practice, the bank found out that the flexibility of the eximee platform is not only a marketing slogan. Having this platform enabled a smooth and extremely fast launch of a completely new project related to the processing of electronic bank applications.
